“Hard Left” is a gritty story of friendship and crossing lines. Randy was a pro surfer who became a plaintiff’s and criminal defense lawyer in the seaside community of Santo Tomás, making himself infamous for his zeal in suing, defending against and taking down dirty cops.  Nick was a detective, a husband and father, with a drinking problem, and loyal part of a brotherhood of blue.  Nick and Randy would meet and that meeting would change both their lives forever.   Years later when Randy is found dead, a disgraced, bitter and washed out Nick is compelled to solve the murder, all the while knowing that he or his daughter could end up dead.
